Listening to some wildfires, the Baldwin fire, and DNR fire management traffic today and I am noticing the rose lake research lab TG:1229 is used by the DNR 50 units quite often. I'm wondering if this talkgroup is actually a fire talkgroup. Also I hear the air 4 and air 5 talking with station 16 about going to the air talkgroup and I can't seem to find that one. Anyone know some info on this?

Noticed this a few weeks ago and thought the same. Listened a bit longer and was hearing several units ID'ing as Rose Lake along with other area DNR fire units. Seems to be a little more to that talkgroup than Rose Lake Research Lab.

I have TG-5179 in my radios and have never heard anything on it. Radio Ref calls it DNR Air to Air Ops. Must be inaccurate.

I definitely have traffic on 5179, and a lot of it is Air to Air or incident command to Air.

I listened a bit the other day to this. The traffic I was hearing sounded like they were doing a controlled burn...

Maybe DNRAIR isn't affiliating to the towers your listening to.

I'm sure that's right. That particular activity I believe would generally be away from the Detroit area and not affiliated unless some interested party with a state radio is monitoring/affiliated.

TG 12575 Young females talking about the weather at a park in New Baltimore or Chesterfield Twp. Also talking about a water splash pad. Brandenburg Park in Chesterfield Twp on Jefferson has one.

Oops made a mistake. "De" = Part time (not full time) encryption. RR won't allow any edits to post after a very short time. Not sure why that is? This attached file is in .CSV format and only shows TG's that are encrypted. "In the clear TG's are not included in the list.

Re-check your file, a LOT to really most of the talkgroups your showing DE/De that are not, I.e. Arenac, Gladwin, Gratiot, National guard, Saginaw, Shiawasee, etc. Excel, sort it by MODE, then you can copy-paste the DE/De's.

That's what I did, took current date from RR's database, sorted it as you said and deleted all the ones that showed the mode as "D" only, saved the ones that showed either "DE" or "De". That's apparently not what your seeing?
