I listened to the entire fire on both these talkgroups, at the 12:47:11 on special events 1, listening to the 'calls' said switching back to "West fire"

Earlier at 8:04:22 AM saying "On west fire" 4554 Group Calls - Archives

I did tune in 4556, audio quality is bad at 11:35:27 AM heard central say "East fire" Richfield Twp. Fire Operations/Roscommon County (72) Fire and EMS Group Calls Live

So I made the change for 4556, looks like we then are missing the actual and assumed it exists Richfield fire.

Wow I'm all backwards today. Yes 4556 should be east fire, this was called richfield in the database. This is what should change.
4554 was called west fire, no change there. The audio I have on 4556 sounds a-ok.

Caught this lastnight:
TGID 25936
852.6875, Washtenaw Co Simulcast
Radio ID's:
9813581
9813489
9814xxx

I was half asleep and just letting my WS1080 do a public safety band search. I didn't jot down any of the traffic as I was concentrating on trying to copy all the ID's. I also caught 25936 on the Northville tower, 854.9625. Typically I just scan what I have "built" in the scanlists, but lately I've been experimenting with just searching around to see what all I can actually hear around me. This was a bit of a surprise...

Happen to get the full RID on that last one?

So that's odd then. Those are well established entities, why would they be popping up under TGID 25936? I would have considered it a typo but I had recorded that TGID two different times on two different towers...I was literally dozing off when I glanced at the screen and started seeing all that, so it comes with that caveat.

4796, off grayling site. Kalkaska County Central dispatch paged "Station 9 Rescue" for an ems call. They had paged an ambulance from station 1 for the same call so I assume its for fire department/first responders?

Fred, We show site #0430 as Beulah in Benzie County. Could it be 0450?

73's

Ron
Don't think so.. Beulah is 41E and this is listed as 430. or 448 dec.. 853.3000 also isn't listed for Beulah but is for the Charlevoix site.

I can't hear the CC for it from my tower directly but that was ready to turn up last I heard. Beaver Island should be next.

Station 9 is Boardman Township's Ambulance. Station 1 is County EMS. Was it a TG page or a 2-tone page?

4540 is listed as Mobiles Common - Crawford County. Right now I am hearing a bunch of Lovells Township Fire/EMS units calling it "Lovells Common". It does not get much use, but its all Lovells Township....

The April edition of the MPSCS Newsletter:

April2021_MPSCS_Update.pdf (govdelivery.com)

On page 2 there is a link to a new podcast called "Tune in with MPSCS"; Episode 2 features an interview with Marty Gillis, who has worked at the NCC from the beginning in 1995. I've talked to Marty on several occasions over the years, and got to meet him on a visit to the NCC back when they were on Collins Rd; He knows his stuff. Should be an interesting listen.
