Still in acceptance testing. Supposed to be online end of the month.
I do see a change in number on this database from 3.52 to 3.53? wonder whats up with that?
When the site first went on the air for testing it was 3.52, now that it's being networked with it's neighbors, it's 3.53. I suspect that site 3.52 maybe a single or simulcast cell that is planned for Zone 3.

What are you calling page groups? MPSCS makes the Page Groups, as they have to map them to the towers. I'm not sure how often they are used, by entities other than Washtenaw, as they are quirky.
With counties that don't have enough money for the expensive dispatch consoles they typically utilize Kenwood/CommandIQ systems. This is much cheaper, but they cannot merge a bunch of "page groups" together when they page out multiple jurisdictions. With this you'll see multiple page groups created as its still cheaper. In Wexford county, manton may have its own page group but they also might have one that includes mutual aid. Benzie county does the same thing with EMS and Fire.

St Jo co., uses them, Cass County is beginning to use them, WE Use them in Cass, 14PGPTFD is for PORTER/SEPSA Fire /EMS. Works well, much better now with the Union tower finally on line. Assuming it will be working better for St. Jo CO now as well, especially WP Fire.

I apologize for three consecutive messages. I've seen a pin in downtown Traverse City in a few official maps of the MPSCS system, and it appears to be a tower on the roof of the dispatch center. Is this a site on the system that was recently added?

4400 - Grand Traverse County RID 4283109 talking about a trailer park, later the same RID was talking about a power shutoff. Sounds like Traverse City Light & Power?

I need opinions... I have a huge list of RIDs labeled per department for Muskegon county, all fire departments and some police. Should I share it / post it on the MPSCS / Muskegon RID wiki page? I wasn't sure if it was something that should be public or not.

I've gotten more traffic on 5370 since. It would appear that is their primary EMS-only channel, separate form Fire Dispatch. This is coming through the River Central (TC) site.
I’ll take a listen. I know EMS is paged on 83EMS. There is also 83FEPG that all fire EMS pages go out on. 83FG has some tones simulcasted on it.

2 channels I know wexford county has that are not in the database are 83WATER (FD water supply operations) and 83TRAFFIC (Traffic Control Tac).

Could you describe more what you’re hearing?

It appears to be used for EMS-only runs, and the Manton MMR station gets toned more on that than any other station. That being said, I have also heard City EMS get toned on it. Standard tone-out - normal QCII followed by dispatch information. I tend to hear it once or twice a week.
