MPSCS Sites/Talkgroups 2023

4972 - temporary Benzie County Paging. Their dispatch center and repeater took direct hits by lightning, which took large parts of their VHF and MPSCS systems offline early this morning.

Standard paging channels are back online.

I live in Muskegon County and I always have trouble with ProMed talkgroups on MPSCS / Muskegon County Simulcast. I listen with multiple different scanners and SDR software and ProMed talkgroups are the only ones with issues. I ruled out nearly all factors that are on my end, but the issue still persists. The issue is that ALL ProMed talkgroups start off with sync loss errors on SDRTrunk, and even on other programs / scanners the beginning of the transmission is always problematic.

It is not my setup that is the issue. I've looked through all of the logs in depth and all other traffic / talkgroups on that exact frequency are PERFECT! But just not promed....

TG 6409 heard on the Ironwood tower, encrypted and the radio I was using to monitor doesn't log RIDs. Not in the DB at all and I was wondering if anyone else has heard this up in the UP or anywhere else.

RIDs 6009431, 9270033, 9270088, 9270013, 9273025, 9270094, 9273017 and 9273058 logged, definitely something to do with Gogebic county and what looks like station 80.

The microwave backbone link to the new site in the Cass County community of Union, was approved by the FCC yesterday. From what I have seen, the site is in place, and should be online within the next 1-3 weeks. Here's the frequencies:

I'm logging tg 6409 as well, encrypted. Haven't heard hardly any law enforcement chatter lately. I'm located in Ironwood area. I'm using a bc536 and a sdr running boatbod op25.

Since Station 80 is on there it might be safe to assume that 6409 is the new LE group as I've only heard 6072 active a couple times. Sucks to see them go encrypted, I actually enjoyed listening to them.

I enjoyed listening to 6072 as well. Sucks they had to encrypt all their traffic. At least fire and EMS is unencrypted for now.

Just heard TGs 7224, 7225, 7226, and 7227 paged out from station 80. 7224 is Wakefield fire, 7225 is some city fire, the name was cut off, 7226 is unknown fire, 7227 is Ironwood city fire. 7224 and 7227 are submitted, 7225 and 7226 will likely need further information before they can be submitted.

13580 (DE) - (~400 hits)
23404 (DE) - (~7,500 Hits)
3790 (DE) - (~860 hits)

13580 is typically 1041[5-7]xxx radio ID's.
23404 is typically 94136xx radio ID's.
3790 is typically 9395xx radio ID's.

Hard to tell when the talk groups are DE. Would have to see if any of the recorded radio ID's ever registered with another talk group and associate them that way.

13580 appears to be within the Kent County block of talk groups, and had a wider range of radio ID's. Likely Sheriff related since DE.
23404 seemed to be older 941 radio ID's. So probably not GR or Kent County related and were likely that were on the system before the Simulcast system.
3790 seemed related to Kalamazoo County.

12267 "TF1" Task Force 1. same rid's. I would assume it is "MI-TF1"
Ingham and Oakland county RID's.

Tc related question , I'm 75 mile east of you ,what does traverse City use i can sometimes pick up Kalkaska not often only at night
