I'm logging tg 6409 as well, encrypted. Haven't heard hardly any law enforcement chatter lately. I'm located in Ironwood area. I'm using a bc536 and a sdr running boatbod op25.TG 6409 heard on the Ironwood tower, encrypted and the radio I was using to monitor doesn't log RIDs. Not in the DB at all and I was wondering if anyone else has heard this up in the UP or anywhere else.
I enjoyed listening to 6072 as well. Sucks they had to encrypt all their traffic. At least fire and EMS is unencrypted for now.Since Station 80 is on there it might be safe to assume that 6409 is the new LE group as I've only heard 6072 active a couple times. Sucks to see them go encrypted, I actually enjoyed listening to them.
All three channels show signs of being an affiliation group or all call group, as well as voice traffic channel. Typically meaning they are not multi-talkgroup organizations.Went to Grand Rapids for a concert recently and I let my SDS100 Run in Discovery mode on MPSCS Kent County Simulcast, Here are the unknowns along with info found on Muskegon County Simulcast (via Unitrunker) (Hits are logged since Feb something 2023)
13580 (DE) - (~400 hits)
23404 (DE) - (~7,500 Hits)
3790 (DE) - (~860 hits)
Like non First responder related MPSCS talkgroups? All three channels show signs of being an affiliation group or all call group, as well as voice traffic channel. Typically meaning they are not multi-talkgroup organizations.
13580 is typically 1041[5-7]xxx radio ID's.
23404 is typically 94136xx radio ID's.
3790 is typically 9395xx radio ID's.
Hard to tell when the talk groups are DE. Would have to see if any of the recorded radio ID's ever registered with another talk group and associate them that way.Like non First responder related MPSCS talkgroups?
