MPSCS TalkGroup IDs

Anyone know any of these Talk Group Ids?

50 52 54 56 864 957 958 994 1052 1146 1155

1174 1906 1907 1955 3032 3034 3042 3033 3086

3086 3306 3366 3460 3663 6139

I've heard them in West Michigan (Grand Rapids area). I can't find them in RR.com. Anyone know of any other trunking databases for Michigan?

Just keep listening to them.. Try to ID them if they aren't listed. That's part of the fun of scanning

If you have adobe acrobat you can save the databases from RR and do a search of the lists through adobe, be a lot quicker than looking through them all.

Another way to search for group IDs rather quickly:

Open the RR database to the system you are listening to, in this example, MPSCS with your internet browser. Now, when you hear a talkgroup you haven't yet identified, just use the command Ctrl+F. This will bring up the find window. Now, just type in the the talkgroup (minus the first zeros the Pro-96 displays of the group ID) and click find. If you don't get a return, it probably isn't listed in the database yet!

Also, if your looking for an alternate souce for IDs, try typing "Michigan Trunking" in google.

You can see the known talkgroups for MPSCS in numerical order now. When you bring up the MPSCS page at this site, just after the end of the towert list and just before the Mutual Aid/Intersystem talkgroups, at the right end of the line you'll see a link labelled " List All in one table". If you click that, you'll get the talkgroup list in numerical order.

Now for my info on the ones in your list:
3033 heard while I was passing thru Grand Haven. Don't know who.
3042 was encrypted when I heard it in Berrien County
3460 I have heard on Paw PAw tower a couple of times. One unit called it "3" and another called it "2". I was suspecting a Kalamazoo County talkgroup, but am not sure.

The others I have not heard in my travels.

Yep - you've been able to view all in one list for quite a while now.
I'm told that 3033 is 'Grand Rapids Detectives 2'/'Surveillance' - they are "always" encrypted, though. I still have no idea on those other two.
