MR8100 assistance

Bought one used with only the basic operations manual. I know it can be programmed remotely with a DB9 connection and would like any details (cable requirement?)/programs (download from the web?) any one has for this scanner. Any and all assistance apprreciated....

At www.mods.dk select UNIDEN and then MANUALS. There is a full package of manuals and programs for the MR8100. I believe the cable is an ordinary serial cable (not null modem).
