MRC Systems (Waterloo Region)

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard any activity on MRC Systems located in Waterloo Region?
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Are you hearing idle bursts on the HR's? That would give an idea if the channels
are still active. If you're within range, simple to use a PC audio recorder like SCANREC,
or run LTR Analyzer (needs discrim. tap) to see if anything shows up. You can do this
per channel, or scan them all.

I would imagine they would slowly be trying to move people over to their MotoTRBO system. Here in the London/Windsor corridor a lot of LTR systems are being replaced with MotoTRBO Connect Plus or Capacity Plus systems.

Their MRC system is a trbo system now i think.. Few moths ago when i was there i was getting trbo control channels with some action on it

Follow on question, to confirm TRBO, has someone checked the system frequencies
for TRBO voice, continuous CC (ConnectPlus), and idle data bursts (CapacityPlus)?

Yes. It is a Connect Plus system. I've been able to log 3 different sites so far:

Site 1 (possibly Wilmot) - 422.7750, 422.9000 & 423.0250
Site 3 (possibly Palmerston) - 420.6875
Site 5 (unknown) - 420.5875

Site 3 (possibly Palmerston) - 420.6875 - PALMERSTON Water Tower
Site 5 (unknown) - 420.5875 - Ballinafad Bell Site (Same as GO Transit)
