Occasionally I will get traffic on the KCSO patch over Ossipee Mtn and all the traffic has always come across as 9980821 which I assume is the UID of the patch, not the individual units. Today however, it was different. KCSO units came across as they always do but a unit using the callsign 1174 came across as 1161102 for several transmissions. He later did a radio check but came up as the patch UID. I believe 1100 series is the traffic division but from what I've seen they have the same 110XXXX ID series as the troopers. This stuck out to me because I've only ever seen dispatch console ID's and the patch ID on the KCSO patch talk group but also because I've never seen a unit on MSCOMMNET with a 116xxxx series ID. Any ideas?
