So far, only ID 9980 and 134 is using it part time. So far encryption hasn't been heard, as well as -- can you repeat? You went digital-- like I've heard 1,000 times on N.H conventional p25 channels.

There are several other TGID'S that have been logged....And have been confirmed..once The State of Maine signs off on the system with Harris, We should be hearing more real-time comms...Wonder if we will have a DB admin by then that is active here...
Once we know what the TG's are, we could wait weeks to have them approved.....

Question. Early on I got the impression that the 396xt or 996xt might not be able to monitor the MSCOMMNET system. In going back through the thread, it appears that people are able to pick it up with those radios? Is that true? Maybe I don't need to upgrade?

I have both radios, and they will receive MSCOMMNET....You might be thinking of Phase 2, which neither can receive...None yet in Maine...

Analog channels

Wells, and the sheriff are analog. With scrambling capabilities. We in York county have all heard it. Out side of the trunking system, they both have noone to talk to in p25 conventional.. To my knowledge, the only towns in York County that have p25 capabilities are South Berwick, Eliot, and Kittery.

Talkgroups: If anyone has confirmed any talk groups please feel free to submit them to the database.
I am aware SNE has a decent list going but not every one uses that site. So lets get stuff on here.

Well sir, I don't know about from Oxford county up, but down here the only talkgroup I have heard being used by the Marine Patrol---134.. The last conversation I heard stated that the Warden may be on the same talkgroup the the S-P will use. That may have changed. Everything is so quiet on the York and Waterboro sites. But, I do not want to mislead anyone. They could come charging in any day with a whole new set of I-D's.. The time draws near--someones gotta talk.
