Several older, not-so-updated websites have carried 151.475 as a vehicle repeater freq for MSP JFK. Anyone know if this is really in the MSP radios and if it gets any use?

Since troopers' repeater portables are evidently 16 ch capable, one has to wonder how many other freqs might be programmed in....we've already learned that 159.405, an old DNR freq, is available for STATE Team use and I've recently heard MSP cars using this for TAC purposes.

Ron, did you mean 127.3? What you have there is not a standard PL.

Thanx Mike

Yes Mike, Thanks for the correction. I was typing that from memory and did not have a PL table or scanner handy (imagine that!) Also, on the topic of MSP. I've seen a lot of posts lately on barrack frequencies. We all know that barrack D Bel Air uses B15 (39.34) for normal operations. What many people do not know is that they also use B12 (39.92) for a Tac and talk around channel. As you, of all people well know, this frequency was obtained from Baltimore County and was suppose to be used for normal dispatch ops. I do not know why Bel Air never switched from B15 to B12, however, Troopers assigned to barrack D frequently use B12. Recently on a missing person search in Abingdon, Trooper 1 was tasked to help locate a mental patient who had wondered out of their parent’s house. The trooper in charge of the incident had Trooper 1 switch to B12 to give a physical description and the story behind what was going on and why they were requested to help locate this person. Just an FYI.

That is quite true. Leonardtown barrack uses 39.380 as their primary frequency but routinely use B12 39.920 as their "talk" or TAC channel down here. You can here some interesting comms on this down here in So. Md.

Thanks for the feedback on the 151.475 freq.

RE: MSP Easton, my cousin is a trooper assigned there....will attempt to discern the scoop on UES 800.
