Msp Barrack V

Down in OC for the week and I have noticed that msp v is silent across the board, edacs, first and lo-band. Anyone with info?

They are on FiRST. Weird it was quiet. What were you using to listen.

I have been listening to it on Worcester edacs, OC edacs and first all evening (not a lot of radio traffic tonight) but it's working.

I was told that they are supposed to be on FiRST as of recently. Are they still using the Worcester EDACS for primary or are they patched?

Should I rule out the loband though?

There have been some transmissions in the last few minutes, anything? Are you hearing the sheriffs office on edacs?

I *think* that the loband is used for those MSP barracks that are on FiRST as a backup, if they can't reach FiRST for some reason. But if they're just patched, then that wouldn't necessarily apply.

Keep in mind that MSP is not at all chatty, unlike many metro related systems, like PG or AA county. Don't expect a whole lot of traffic; you simply won't get that much from them.

FWIW - Berlin is typically pretty busy/chatty this time of the year...

The night he was asking they were at minimum manpower (2) and weren't busy at all.

I am not sure Berlin still has a lowband patch, but can't say for sure as I keep it locked out.
