Hello,

Tried to figure this out myself, but find it confusing.

What would be the most likely MSP frequencies to pick up with a radio that has
vhf/uhf capability, but is Not a scanner ?

I guess about the best I could do is to sit on one frequency for a while.
Any chance at all of hearting any MSP conversations, or must I absolutely have a Scanner with Trunking and CC capabilities to do so ?

Live in Sudbury, just North of Framingham.

Thanks for help,
Bob

MSP are on a 700/800 Trunk, not VHF/UHF
You might get some of the old Low Band for chit-chat from time-time tho

OR try the web

So Far Away....
If your able to order up an SDR dongle you can tune the 800mhz freqs...

Your able to hear the conv/analog voice traffic thats coming from the towers near you...

Youll just need to cross check them with the RRDB to see & confirm they are the MSP channels.. ...Or.......Heres the file for SDR# Ive been putting together since Ive been in Mass....
