MSP HUNG UP ON TALK GROUPS

Hi, I live north of Boston and have picked up MSP on my BCT15X and Uniden handheld for years. 2 weeks ago, on both radios, when a talkgroup opens, there seems to be a carrier that keeps that talk group open to all voice. Im getting D troop, all of A and H, until i hit scan, it will scan until it hits a programmed talkgroup and stay open and wont go back to scan??

Thought it could be my 15X but my hand held does it also when travelling. Makes it impossible to scan. oh ya my squelch is set ok.

Any ideas??

I had this problem a few years ago with my XT scanners. Check the "End Code" setting. If it's on, set it to "Ignore" and see what happens. If it's set to "Ignore", set it to "Analog."

I forget which one I had, but choosing the other one fixed my problem.

found it, changed from ignore to yes (?) see if it works Thanks

You're welcome. It's not a particularly intuitive thing. As I recall, I was baffled and someone pointed it out to me as a problem sometimes on the MSP system.
