MSP Mobile Repeater

I noticed that an addition to the Database has recently been made to include 2 mobile repeater frequencies for the state patrol. They are UHF frequencies. Are these frequencies likely to be used by vehicles in areas with A.R.M.E.R. coverage? Coverage has recently been extended to the St Cloud district for example. Are the officer's likely to have Project 25 portables or will they have standard portables with the mobile repeaters re-broadcasting the traffic from the MN State TRS? Thanks for any help with this.

The uhf mobile repeaters have been being phased out since the early 90's. Fisrt the metro made the switch tovhf portables and since then regions have been switched as coverage on the vhf system was improved through the addition of more repeaters. When the switch takes place to ARMER the troopers have 800 Mhhz APCO 25 portables.

MSP 2600 Troopers still have their VHF Portables, no 800 portables for another 2 years or so, only 800s they get are in their vehicles fro SCPD and Stearns SO
