msp state system

I have program in the frequencies for both lansing and diamondale from the datebase here. I do not seem to be picking up any traffic. Could some one tell me what settings I need to have for this to work. I am using a BC296d along with ARC250.

They have to be progammed as a Motorola trunked system. Can you hear the control channels and/or audio when you manually step through the freqs?

Well I reset the scanner to it;s default and reloaded the frequencies and it seems to be working now.

I have the trunk set to Motorola type 2 800 mhz. Is this correct since it seems to be ok. Is there any other settings I should do?
