Yes, but you probably don't remember the on on the Xway in Quincy, or the one on Route 138 in Canton. Or the hundreds of other ones around the country.

I remember the one on the Xway in Quincy. But what about the one on Route 28 in Randolph, where the motel is now. Now I'm really showing MY old age.

The old HoJo's in West Boylston is now the Classic Suites and Inn:

There were a lot of both restaurants and motels at one time. I think the last restaurant I ate in was in Springfield, VT about 20 years ago. The motels are still around, but it's a franchise owned by Wyndham.

The last one I went to was in Lake Placid , NY about 10 years ago.
