Mt. Baker problems?

I'm wondering if anyone else is monitoring the new tower. I'm still not hearing any talk groups at all on ID search. CC is coming in at about 75% here. Is it unusual for them to run the CC without using the system?

I was in OKC last Thursday and I can verfiy the Lawton/Troop G is on DPS, just not on the Mt. Baker site.

The site might not be fully linked up yet. The stillwater site and Pryor site ran lke that for a while when they were setting up/testing the site.

The other two low probability options are that there is no one affiliated to the site or there is a failure on the system linking side.

The transmitter for the control channels will be active 100% of the time while the site is turned on since that is what the radios require from the system. It will transmit with or without any of the audio channels active.

Thanks, I bet that's it, they can't access the site for programming due to the weather. I'll keep listening for traffic. It should cover the entire west side of troop G, and most of Troop M.

Being as large as the system is, I would imagine that the radio techs have ways to program things with out being at the physical location. Unless there are some other "material" things that need to be changed, I doubt that's the problem.
