Happy Easter all!

I've been monitoring MTO TG's today and so far haven't heard a peep out of the Hamilton TG's is it a slow day or what because they were just buzzing last night

I'm not sure what you're expecting to hear? It's the Sunday of a sunny holiday weekend and there's no snow to plow.

On a Sunday?

Maybe I'm missing something not being in the GTA area but wouldn't the workers have Sundays off? Do they normally work on Sundays when there isn't any snow?

Oh, wouldn't they be cleaning the highways up?

What talkgroup are you listening to? Sometimes the Hamilton activity, actually in Burlington are patched on the Niagara talkgroup, esp since today is a holiday and like Mike said, there isnt any snow.

You would now only expect to hear the MTO when there is an accident or if they had to do some road repairs otherwise they would be pretty silent.

I hear the MTO doing road reports with their units every night at 1130 and in the morning at 530.this time of year, the only thing you hear them being dispatched to is accidents for lane blockage or to retrieve dead animals.
