Mts 2000/ht1000

Hi everyone! Been a member for I don't know how long. I guess I signed up a long time ago and never utilized this as the resource that it is.

I have a couple questions. I have a HT1000 and a computer running DOS and am able to program that cable fine. I'm using a RIBless cable.

I also have a MTS2000 that I am trying to program. I have some software for the 2000 that utilizes DOS, but I can't program the correct channel frequency

I also have the CPS software that utilizes windows. In windows, I an read the radio data, but I am not able to program any trunking options or frequencies. I can add conventional frequencies, and it will write those to the radio fine, but the trunking option is where I am lost.

I'm sure that i'm missing a small step...I appreciate all the help provided!

You won't be able to enter or edit any new or existing trunking information without a trunking system key.

And systems keys, trunking setup in commercial radios and scanning trunking systems with commercial radios are beyond what should be covered in this group.

Funny, I read that last night, and the system key thing didn't make sense until I re-read it. I appreciate your help, i guess i'm going to abandon this idea.
