One of the weirdest stories i ever heard. In some strange way that gives me a good feeling inside... even though the characters going around robbing people at gunpoint need long-term housing in prison.

I can get it though. If i were the type to go around robbing people at gunpoint, I'd do the same thing.

I like how they were "unfazed" by the corrections officer's ID.

Wasn't a CO, was a convict with a prison system ID. No heartbreak over scum robbing other scum.

a 47-year-old man — a convicted burglar who had a Department of Corrections inmate ID in his wallet

You're giving the bad guys too much credit. I'm thinking it's more like after they found out who he was, they were in fear for serious retaliation and their lives! :wink:
