I monitor Mukwonago police and it seems they changed frequencies, I searched with the scanner and was able to pick them up on another frequency but it has been spotty, does anyone know if they did in fact change or if this was a temporary switch or possibly going to WCC with the rest of the county? Thanks in advance!

I've been hearing short key ups on 159.15 today with no audio.
You may want to try 154.3925 in P25 mode. I am hearing activity on this frequency but due to limitations I cannot decode the signal or NAC. This frequency shares the same license as 159.15. Please let us know what is heard.
Also today, I heard Mukwonago ambulance being paged out on their previously used frequency of 158.775. This freq was used by the fire department for dispatch and also briefly by their police as well. It had been silent for about ten years.
Stay tuned.

I have them on 155.5875 in P25 NAC680 and it has been working best, I had them on 154.3925 as well as 159.085 but couldn’t always hear the squads, 155.5875 has been super clear and loud

154.3925 has a better signal than 155; the latter is almost non existent here in the middle of Milwaukee.
Still hearing Mukwonago being dispatched on county 154.43 but with a second page on 158.775 PL210.7

Hello all,

Yes, MPD has gone digital (for now). We are working some kinks out and may integrate a hybrid system while we navigate some site issues.

The second page that you hear on 158.775 is a store forward repeater so dispatch and squads can here WCC pages of the FD.

Hope that answers a few questions for now.

Can someone elaborate about OASIS. Is that P25 phase 2? What uniden scanners get OASIS?
OASIS is a partnership between Milwaukee and Waukesha County. Most public safety authorities in these two counties use it with the exception of City of Milwaukee and Mukwonago.

In its current configuration it is a P25 type 1 system. As far as scanners, I am not fluent on models and their capabilities. I am sure someone else can chime in on that...

I haven't been able to monitor yet, but it appears Mukwonago PD is now using a 2 site simulcast system. Both sites repeat the input frequency of 159.0675. The 154.3925 repeater is located at the north site, which is on Oak Knoll Drive, north of the village near North Prairie. The 155.5875 repeater is located at the south site, which is at 981 Greenwald Court. Which frequency comes in better will likely depend on your location, try them both and see how well they work for you.
