I think I can do better scanning our P25 system by turning on the multi-site ROAM. The problem I'm having is the part where the manual says to " SEL to edit the TSYS parameters". What the heck are the TSYS parameters, and how do I edit them? The manual left all that info out. As you can see I'm new to this, but learning more every week. Thanks for any help.

Roam is meant for when you are mobile throughout a given area covered by multiple sites. Stationary is obviously when you are at just one location (home, work, etc.)

From the GRE PSR-500 manual:

The ROAM setting is ideal for those times when you are driving
around in the service area of a networked trunked radio system,
as it allows the radio to find and use the best tower sites as you
move in and out of the coverage footprints of different sites. The
STAT(ionary) setting is ideal for those times when you are not
moving and are within range of more than one tower site, as it
will allow you to monitor traffic from any tower that you are within
range of.
