Good afternoon,
I have an AOR AR DV1. This receiver has only one antenna input on the back. I am looking for a solution that would provide a way for me to connect both an HF and VHF/UHF antenna (Welbrook Loop and ST2). Maybe a receiver duplexer or “combiner” of some kind? I do have an AOR SA7000 but can’t get it up high enough to make it efficient (HOA and my roof sheathing is lined with foil).
Thank you for any help you might be able to offer.

Try google "HF VHF UHF combiner".

If you are up to it you can build one yourself, as it is only RX, as an in the air design in a little box.
There are coil calculators and filter calculators on-line to make it easy for you.
Maybe a 0-50MHz and a 50-1GHz filter would be suitable.

You can download this diplexer design program and then adjust the values until they correspond to standardised values that you can buy or use a coil calculator and wound your own coils. Diplexer - from Tonne Software
Coil Inductance Calculator

I suggest to start with a 2-pole design that doesn't require that many components and can be soldered in air or screw together using any kind of terminal blocks.

You already have one, it came with your AOR SA7000:

Thank you all for taking the time to respond. It’s very much appreciated.
I was thinking of using the SA7000 combiner with my own antennas, but, for some reason, forgot about that possible application.
Thank you iMonitor! I’ll give it a shot and report my results.
It’s funny though. Given the higher-end receiver market I thought a commercial version would be readily available. The WAN is rare as hens teeth as is the AOR model and the Winradio version is $200! Wait a minute...if the SA7000 combiner works out I’ll be using the most expensive one! Dho!!
