Don't know if this is exactly the right place to ask this, but since it's a RS product, and RS scanners connect to it, I figure this'll be close at least:

Does anyone know if it is possible to use multiple 20-047 programming cables on the same PC? I tried it, and it didn't work right. Once I plugged in the second one, the PC wouldn't recognize either one of them. I got one to work again after unplugging them both, then plugging one in again. Suggestions?

I'd like to monitor and log both of the Pro-197 scanners I'm using right now, so hopefully there's some way to make this work.

Thanks!

In GRE support page http://www.greamerica.com/support/ click on How to connect more than one GRE USB cable to a PC. It will send you to download and instructions on "how to".

Many Thanks! That's exactly what I wanted to know. It worked, with the addition of one more step: be sure to unplug and re-plug the unit you re-program. That way the system finds it with it's new ID, and installs the drivers for it.

Thanks again!
