Multiple antenna's

I'm sure most users on this site know how to hook up multiple scanners to an antenna,but I'm wondering how many have tried a multiple antenna setup to a single scanner?This is the Idea I'm toying with,2 comtelco yagi's,one VHF,the other UHF,and a discone to a BC796D,Has anyone else tried this sort of setup or something similar with good results??Why wouldn't a passive multicoupler in reverse work??Any suggestions?
