Multiple attena/device usage and vice versa.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to install a single antenna for general VHF scanning and for use as a CB antenna. Or, a steel whip antenna for CHP monitoring and CB. I'm having some difficulty describing this, so here's a diagram:

No. Don't even try that. You don't show how you are going to hook the scanner and CB to the whip but without some switching device to prevent the CBs power from flowing to the scanner, you will burn up the scanners front end.
