Hi,

Is it possible to run multiple copies of the Wires-X software on the same machine or even the same network?
I am running the Wires-X on my PC, connected to an HRI-100 and an FTM-100.
I had to setup port forwarding on my router to get the the software to work.

Now I also want to setup my FT2D in PDN mode using the software which would require 2 copies of the software running.

Where would I forward the ports to? Maybe a second computer? but, what ports would I use as there are already being forwarded to the first computer?

Any ideas?

Regards

No, you can only run one instance of WiRES-X per computer as each instance is tied to a specific node/room number. You want two WiRES-X nodes running at the same time you need two computers.

Now, you can run multiple PDN's or one HRI-200 and multiple PDN's on one internet connection. I have had my HRI-200 and four PDN's running on one internet connection with five computers needed.

One computer with multiple Virtual Machines (like VirtualBox) would do the math.
