If I install multiple discone antennas in my attic will they interfere with one another?

They will be the exact same model of antenna (Whistler WMM-860 Multi Band w/Discone) just feeding different directions. Is it an issue if they are within 4 feet of each other?

Not lots of room in my attic so I gotta get shorter units unfortunately.

Thanks for any help

If they are really close, you can end up making a very slight directional pattern, but 4 feet should be plenty for receiving only.

Have you considered using one antenna and just adding an amplified distribution amplifier? Might be a cheaper solution, and a bit of amplification may help performance.

Thanks,

One is my sons and he wants to take it when he moves out or your suggestion would have worked
