Has anyone tried controlling multiple ICOM PCR type receivers from one computer? I know the earlier series using serial ports would be limited by the number of COM ports on the computer, but I'm thinking about the new series 1500/2500 that uses USB ports.

Do you think the software could be run in several windows, with each window configured to an individual receiver? If so, what might be a realistic limitation?

Thanks!

Multiple PCRs

I have heard of them being grouped. I have been told by people that they own two, three, or more units.

I have only one PCR1000, so I couldn't say.

According to Scancat.com, you can "slave" multple PCR1000's together. Scancat is one of the top leading scanner/receiver/radio software makers.

See this link about "slaving" PCRs together..
