I am just gathering ideas on how you all program a similar file into multiple scanners. I have a UBCD396XT (AU version of BCD396XT), a UBCD396T (AU BCD396T) and a BCD996XT and would like to have similar files across the 3 units.
Considerations:
I have 800mhz systems setup in the UBCD396XT and the UBCD396T that the BCD996XT can't track due to cell block. This is not a major issue, as the BCD996XT blocks them anyway
Both handhelds have a startup message similar to if found please call xxxx-xxxxxxx
UBCD396T doesnt need the uIDs programmed in

What is the easiest way to set them up, I really dont want to have to update 3 seperate files to add in a few TGID's or Frequencies.

Does FreeScan allow for each scanner's differences?
For example I have P25 Trunking Network called "MMR"
This on the XT series has the sites setup on the individual Quick Keys and the TGIDs are pooled for the network.
The T series has the sites loaded similar, however has the sites listed indiviually with the talkgroups loaded and attached to the site.
Does Freescan then nominate the Quick Keys, with the TGIDS individually on the T series.
