Rupert Murdoch has launched a spirited defence of putting up paywalls around his newspaper websites,
while embracing the game-changing potential of Apple's iPad. The News Corp chairman hailed the new
device as a possible saviour of the newspaper industry.

Murdoch renewed his attacks on search engines,
such as Google, whom he accused of stealing journalism from traditional media outlets.

Search engines are not stealing anything. The news that they link to is openly available for anyone to view. The search services allow people to find it, and that is where it stops. If the media outlets want to block their information from the public, then go ahead, no one is stopping them from carrying out business. Murdoch, should keep his greedy mouth shut, and stop making false accusations! Besides, I can go to my local library and get all the free news I want =)
