Does anybody know if the M'boro fire dispatch has changed frequencies? I haven't heard them in several days now. Seems like I am hearing the fire units sent out as first responders now talking on the same freq as the ambulances. I used to hear them regularly on 154.98

Yep, seems like that is dispatch - do you know what caused the change? Is there a new freq for fire ground?

Thanks

RE: MFD units are dispatch with any EMS unit in murfreesboro city. They advise EMS dispatch their enroute, onscene and in service status. Thats why you hear them on Rutherford County EMS frequency. Also, they may have changed frequencies because of Robertson County bleeding over. Im not exactly sure but I can and could here Robertson on 154.980.

Yes... 159.210 MHz is the new MFD dispatch 'repeater output'. The input frequency is 156.165 MHz. Their new dispatch uses DPL of 051. That is why the audio on that channel sounds rather choppy at times.

You can also look up frequencies using the fcc website (www.fcc.gov) Go to wireless telecommunications, and then license search, and then advanced seach. You can sear by name or frequency. It is a little hard to find on their website but it is a great tool if you want to find out frequencies for someone.

I believe the frequency change is because of the new 'narrowband' requirement too. . . They briefly went back to the old frequency about a week ago and now they're back on the new one.

Don't even get me started on bleedover from Robertson County :) 'BSL will know what I am talking about. . .heh. . .
