Murray's Radio System

Has anyone been picking up Murray PD's radio comms today? All day long I have been hearing a "tone" or "beep" when they are on the air. We discussed lockdown or failsoft a while back and in a thread a long time ago we were told that when they are in this mode there is a beep every ten seconds or so.

Has anyone else been hearing this?

Yes I am hearing the beep after the repeater un keys as well. And The truth is they don't know why it's doing it either. Murray has been having some issues with the system for a couple days now. So the beep so far means nothing...hope that helps.

Also Murray does not operate a Motorola system so this is not failsoft.

Yes, that does help. You are right about the problems because yesterday I kept getting some terrible noises from them to the point that I finally locked them out for a while.
