Ok before I start I read my scanners manual about twenty times on this issue then I read the easier to read manual and it says the exact thing. Whatbmynissue is that whenever I do any type of search orbit the radio into signal search, then try to delete it won't delete I go through the steps with the book in my and and as soon as it goes through a cycle of scanning my scan lists it goes right back to a mini search and gets stuck on the same frequencies. Can SOMEBODY please what I am doing incorrectly. Thank you in advance.

Isn't F1 the function button for locking it out or permanently? You hit function then F1 or lock out I thought I read?

If you hit F1, it will lock it out permanently as if you were "delete" and you will never see it again (which is what I think you want). If you want to search for the channel later on, read the section on unlocking channels.
