Does anyone regularly monitor the Airports Auth ??? Dulles & Reagan.......I've got them programed and live pretty close to Reagan but I've never heard any activity....any idea what "Plan" they are on ???? I ave set them to plan "2".....so maybe that will clear it up.........Tks

Scan all the frequencies and make sure you hear a control channel on one of them. Even if you're pretty close, you may not be able to hear Reagan National--it's very low power. If you can hear the control channel, you can simply program that in and set the radio to Plan 2. When I've listened to the airports, they've been fairly active, especially the police talkgroups.

Thanks, I live fairly close but like you say, they are low power. I have to be real close to get the control channel. i finally figured it out. plus I had the wrong plan.....
