MWM seeks help w/OSHP Dist 6 MARCS

Greetings,

Up to a month ago I was listening to OSHP Dist. 6 Posts on my BCD996XT - that was the last time I listened. I turned on the 996 over the weekend and now I don't hear anything! I originally had only the control freqs programmed in. I added the rest of them thinking that was the problem - still nothing.
Here are the freq I have programmed:
853.48750 853.11250 853.17500 853.36250 851.78750 851.81250 852.17500 852.21250 852.28750 852.47500 852.77500 852.80000 854.18750 859.18750

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You should be receiving them OK. Is that system programmed as re-banded?

I just checked the database and 2 more control channels were added. The control channels are now 853.11250 - 853.17500 - 853.36250 - 853.48750.

Yes, MARCS is rebanded.

Not sure what problem you're having; I've been listening to OSP (and MARCS in general) for several days straight on a BCD436HP and it's working fine.

I used FreeSCAN to program the 996, should there be anything entered in the "APCO Band Plan" page?

Make sure you select "Mot Custom/Reband" under "Site Type" at the top of the page and enter the band plan in the box at the bottom.

I know they have rebanded. I was asking the OP if he had programmed that system as rebanded.

Since the reband 2 control channels were added to the DB. I did not have these in my scanners and was apparently missing some transmissions.

(The BCD436HP self programs and would not be affected like the XTs would if new control channels were added).
