I recorded a vlog of my 10m FT-8 reception on my C.Crane Skywave SSB. Video recorded this morning cst. I am using two wires at 9 feet a piece. One connected to radio antenna taped to the wall vertically. The other connected to radio common ground for the added 25% signal reliability because tiny shortwave receivers do not have enough ground path for the HF bands. That wire is just dangling out the window not connected to anything. I was really happy to see many FT-8 signals across the great big pond and other areas.
Here is my video. Another reason I recorded it is so that others may be able to use my experience who live in apartment buildings.

Thanks!
