Thanks.

I'm using the RS 800 MHZ rubber ducky antenna on a window mount for the scanner (temp)

And a Maldol Exceed EX-107B NMO UHF/VHF antenna for the Icom. Works GREAT!! I'm pulling in signals from about 50 miles away EASILY with this antenna.

I'm planning to drive to my local Amateur Radio shop (about 40 miles north of me) this Wednesday to pick up another trunklip NMO mount and a 800mhz antenna for the scanner.

..Pics soon to come...

nice. looks like a lot of hard work went into that. I only hope that I can get a setup half as good as most of y'all when I start installing in my camaro. And I definitely agree about the Pioneers, I won't buy anything else in terms of aftermarket decks.

What kind/brand of NMO mount did you use?

That one looks really low profile.

Sorry I don't know the brand name (i don't have the packaging anymore to check either, sorry....) Its a trunklip NMO mount though. It is fairly thin as u say.
