I have i believe finshed playing in the car here is the first shot of my install i will take a few more including antennas and trunk mounted MCS2000 As you see in the photp I have installed The MCS2000 Type II 800mhz and thats a remote kit, base is in trunk, beside it is the Astro Spectra VHF. I have 2 MNO antennas mounted on the trunk, again i will clean up the car and take some better shots...

Yeah, whoever left that bra on the floor may be looking for it.

Thanks for the pix. I am always interested in seeing how people deal with full-size radio mounting in smaller cars with consoles.

Nice setup. And that particular Spectra head is great because you can easily find the volume knob to adjust without looking while driving.

I had almost the identical setup with two NMO dedicated antennas on the trunk on an Accord, but the most impressive task was driving stick and talking at the same time!

Looks very nice...

Seriously. I HATED the Spectras with the damn push-button volume control!

Really? I liked them. Easy to hold down and adjust the volume. Didn't have to keep turning the darn thing...

I probably prefer the other head too in general, but in this application, your hand is probably right at the shift a lot of the time, and all you have to do is feel over to the knobs and control the volume. Easy to do without taking your eyes off the road. In this case, I would definitely prefer that head.

Neat. This has caused me to learn about a whole new Acura, too bad they don't sell em here.

Much respect for drilling holes in a nice car. It's good to see a man with his priorities straight! :D

Those are awful close together though, aren't they? An antenna as small as the 800 could have gone on the roof quite nicely.
