Hello,

In mid-October I stayed in Arlington VA. During that time I briefly searched the Government UHF band. Things have really changed since I last scanned the DC Area. I do not get to the DC area very often, so others will have to develop the information. Some of the unknowns and possibles I monitored:

406.5500 is listed in RRDB as Analog 210.7PL for the National Gallery of Art in DC. I got a DMR XPT system using a color code of 9. Talkgroups 201 and 205 were active with encrypted communications. DSDPlus does not seem to decode XPT very well as it kept changing the network and site.

410.6500 is not listed in RRDB. I got a DMR Tier 3 trunked system L2-1.2 control channel with a color code of 14. I did not see any TG activty while monitoring.

409.9250 is not listed in RRDB. I got DMR Conventional with a color code of 6. There was a brief keyup on TG 15 while monitoring.

Unknown P25 Phase 2 trunked system. I heard some encrypted activity on TG 11 during monitoring.
SysID BEE00-A49 NAC A41 Site 1.1
410.0875 CC
410.4250 scc
410.8750

Another unknown P25 trunked system. I heard no activity during monitoring.
SysID BEE00-680 NAC 682 Site 1.2 no neighbors
407.4125 CC
407.5625 scc
410.1375 scc
410.2875 scc

These two frequencies appear to be linked with the 407.6625 frequency stronger. TG 1 was active with encrypted transmissions.
407.2625 NAC 421
407.6625 NAC 421

TG 1001 was active with encrypted transmissions.
407.7500 NAC 29E

409.5125 is listed in RRDB as Analog 073 DPL for the Government Printing Office in DC. I got a P25 signal with a NAC of 079. TG 1 was active with unencrypted transmissions and there seemed to be brief data transmissions.

Eric, here is my dump from DSD+ / FMPA last week on the "680" fed system. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to log any of these actual comms - i just left DSD+ running in my hotel room during the day.

Here is the log file, the column with “41” is the TG column, and the “329” column is the # of hits on that TG.

NAC 421 is used by FEMA. Their NAC usage is consistent across the states.

Thanks for your findings
