Shown is a yaesu ft250, hp1 and icom 7410 with a mfj tuner on top. My laptop is on the desk when running hf. Its very modest and does not compare to most here but does what i need.

I like the hp1 so far. I use it both in the home and car with the gps unit. Will be nice when i drive to dallas this summer, being able to sit in the room and hear big city excitement.

Certainly! I broke down and ordered a Pro-197 this week since they were $100 off, should be here tomorrow. I'm anxious to play with it for sure. It'll be my first digital scanner.
