I'm beginning to think I change my setup more often than I change my socks. This is at least the 4th time I've rearranged things in the past 3 months. I think it will stay this way for a while now; all I need to do is turn slightly to my left while at my desk and everything is right at my fingertips.

My lineup includes.....

Top shelf...Yaesu FT 2800M, Pro-96, Pro84, FD-150A HT, Kaito KA1102 SW Receiver

Bottom Shelf... Realistic TRC-441 CB (doesn't get much use), backup battery for the FD-150A and the power supply for the FT 2800M (also the black battery holder for the Pro-96 LOL)

I have an FT-2800. That's a good radio. I couldn't tell what the handheld radios were.

Sweet. But your handhelds should be arranged according to antenna height.

Hmmmmm, never even thought of that. To my way of thinking if they're within easy reach it really doesn't matter what order they're in :D :D

From left to right...Pro 96 scanner, Pro 84 scanner and a FD-150A VHF HT

:)

Is that FD-150A one of those HTs I see advertised on Ebay all the time? I thought about ordering a couple of those China made HTs to have as backups, or even to keep in my vehicles, but I heard they are really bad about splatter.

Yes it is.

My wife bought it for me as a surprise just after I got my license. I have since upgraded to the Yaesu FT 2800M.

They're not bad in a pinch, but they're not something I'd use for everyday use.

What kind of supply are you using to power your Yaesu 2800?

Well, I was using a wimpy 5 amp power supply at first (couldn't xmit more than 10 watts), but now it's running off of an Astron RS-20A power supply. Powers all 65 watts (when needed) with amps to spare. :D
