This isn't anything spectacular just my little setup for now until I get some more stuff.

Vertex VX350 (2)
Regency Crystal Scanners (2)
Kenwood TM 271A
Cherokee Base Station 40ch upper and lower ssb
Uniden 40 channel
Motorola GP68
Puxing
One monitor is for pocsag decoder which feeds the scrolling message borard hanging up, programming, live feeds, the other minitor is for general use.
More onit way...

VERY COOL. I like the POCSAG scroll. Very different!

Also, the mix of old and new equipment makes for a well rounded shack.

Nice to see the old xtals still pulling their weight.

Wireless mice are probably on sale right now, might clean up the old desk a little. Seriously, no complaints, looks good.

Looking Good!!! Is that a LED scrolling sign on your wall???

Yeah, that's the LED sign that scrolls the POCSAG messages off the county alpha pager. Got it at an auction for 5 bucks and with a little modifications it turned out to be a good buy.

The xtals pull in some stuff better then the Kenwood and the Vertex radios do, only thing I have to do is find some more crystals for them.

I'm looking into getting an old consule from the comm center that just moved to a new location to try and clean up the clutter a bit, I looked at walmart for wireless mice they were goin for 30 bucks a peice. Once I get my radios I want I'll worry about the mice.

I have a MARATRAC with a remote head on the way, a VHF maxtrac, another VHF with an A9 remote head, and a couple scanners I have to find somewhere to put. Have a little amp for the Cherokee base station, little leary about hooking that up. A guy from the FCC just moved in across the street and was already questioning about my antenna setup and what they were all for.

Thanks for the comments!

p.s. anyone that has any vhf, low band, uhf, scanners they're looking to get rid of I'm up for buying just about any of them. I don't have a drug problem, I have a problem of not knowing when to stop buying radios!!!

also, if anyone knows how to program the Motorola GP68 please, please, please let me know, I can't figure this thing out.

I still can't get the channels to program, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

That scrolling board is a neat idea. Does it change colours ? Red for fire, blue for police etc.

It changes colors all the time on its own, I have it setup that everytime it changes it will beep so I know.

I still can't figure out how to program it, I'm about to sell it if I soon don't do something with it. I've had it now for going on 3yrs and its doing me now good.
