My new $26.00 dollar scanner

Here is a picture of the BC15X I brought for $26.00 with shipping and tax. I actually ordered the BC15 external speaker and got the radio instead.
The top radio is the BC RH96 remote head connected to the uniden BCD396T. The bottom radio is the BC15X that I got for free almost.

no, it was a walmart.com mistake. I went to the store and told them they told me to keep the radio the receipt was for a BC15 speaker and not a BC15x scanner. The radio cost $174.98 at the site. The speaker cost 20.98 plus tax and shipping.

Gotta love Walmart's lenient return and error policies! Congrats on being able to capitalize on their mistake.

Waiting for the post to appear now that says Walmart is out of stock on external speakers. I have to admit, I'm tempted to order one and hope for a similar outcome. If you had gotten an x36 out of the deal, I definitely would!

I was one that got pretty lucky too, I ordered a BCT15XT a few days before my birthday. On my birthday I got a package in the mail with a BCD996XT, so I paid $250 for a new 996XT (when the 15xt was $250.) Wasn't from walmart though, it was another place... =D

My order arrived today.........It was a speaker.


On a side note, I did win an auction for 15 BC780XLTs and one BC785XLT. I guess I need all the speakers I can get now but that $26 BCT15XT would have been nice.

I did try and the box actually looked more like a scanner. But alas, upon opening it lots of paper and a lowly BC15 external speaker. Oh well I actually need a speaker anyway.
