After finally getting my first car up 'n running , I decided to put a UHF Spectra in it. The car is a '94 Pontiac GrandPrixGTP. The antenna is a UHF NMO on a trunk-lip mount. Suprisingly, the Spectra fit like a glove in the dash! I may install an 800/900MHz spectra in the future.

Enjoy

Did you have to cut away anything behind the radio? Looks like a very clean install.

Actually no, I didn't, it fit in perfectly & snugly, I was pretty sprised. When I put in a 700/800MHz AstroSpectra for listening to local stuff I will more than likely use a remote mount above the dash in the little cubby.

Now you need to punch in the code and unlock your stereo!

I had 2 remote head spectra's in my old Grand Am. Perfect fits!

oops, I posted in Rayjk110 vehicle install by mistake. Sorry about that Rayjk110 , I meant to open a new thread for me. Perhaps one of the Mods can do it since I can't edit it or delete my post and repost.
