My new psr 800

Hello to all I got my new psr 800 in less than a day from ham radio outlet/ hro. I am having some troubles figuring out the scanner. I have downloaded a list from the onboard library. it is scanning where do I go to see what is downloade into scanlists??. Also can i just download what I want a few frequencies insted of alot. Also does anyone know how to use lcd light to indicate what iam listening to how do i set this up.. Is the any good you tube videos on this.. I seen some but none adressed what iam looking for. Also should i just rest unit and start all over. If i reset this will it erease update to unit. Also how do I go about seeing what firm ware is onboard. I hold down the menu key when unit is off but it does not come on.. Thanks for any help or advice.. chuck....

The first suggestion is to make sure you have the included software loaded to your computer. You can really see (and adjust) all of the settings, frequencies, etc. in this easy to use software. This will also give you the ability to update the database weekly (if you like to do it that often) and get firmware updates as they come out.

thanks i have the software downloade. How do i get it to read how the radio is set up. Will it read the radio settings. Also I have downloaded from the library. How do I go about seeing what is downloaded.Anyway going to work I work 2nd shift 7 days a week now were really busy.I will check when I get home thanks for the advice and help...
