MY NEW UNIDEN 296D

I got a new scanner and am having trouble with a couple of systems. I had a pro 95 working great on the lafayette 800 meg system the state police system and the opelousas 800 meg system. I programmed my 296 the same and lafayette works perfect but opelousas and the state system dont seem to be working. When I listen to the opel system I dont even hear the data channel noise on the 2 data channel freqs listed in red on the rr database. The state system however I can hear the data channels but in search mode and scan mode I never hear any talkgroups pop up. I have been monitoring for days on the state system and not a peap. I know it must be something I am doing wrong. Here is what I am doing.
In one bank I have all of the red freqs on the state system programmed in my scanner and they are set to type 2 motorola. (Apco25 800 meg) That is all . It pretty easy to setup but I dont know why anything isnt poping up.
On the opel system I have in a seperate bank 2 data channels pgmed.
868.3000 and 868.7750. It is also set to type 2. I dont know what else to check. Can someone please reply to this email I know I have asked alot of questions but I am really stumped on this one. Thanks for all of your help. With out this website I dont know where I would be.

Also with this new scanner I can do a little more freq tracking and I hope to contribute more to the st martin area.

BTW I am trying both the state system and opel systems in open mode (search mode)

Did you set the banks to Control Channel Only mode?

Ok well I enabled that feature and tryed all plans available and still nothing. What else could it be?
