That won't be very green.

The energy used vs. the energy transferred will be worse than normal rechargeable batteries.

Of course it might sell because Greenies can't do math!;)

Im waiting for Duracell or Energizer to buy up the patent so that it cant be sold to the public.

Then im waiting for a new ad showing how "green" their batterys are.

It also has to go from one unit - to the mini pack - then to the device... its not instant plug and play.

quoted from a poster on that site

"Pointless device! It takes more electricity to split water than to just CHARGE the damn battery!

There is NO free electricity. You need energy to get energy and you need more of it to split the water. Just think about how much is gonna be wasted to heat alone!?!?!!"

Buying up patents to suppress the market is just a myth.

Patents by definition are public, so once it is patented anyone can see exactly how it works.

Second, if you "abandon" and idea, the patent becomes invalid.

Besides, I doubt there are even any defensible patents in the technology.
Fuel cells are old technology, as is electrolysis and metal hydrides.

Guess you have missed the "green" battery crap already out there.

Yep, dumb idea x2!

"The company has been teasing us with products for years..."
That pretty much says it all.

Here's your green battery.
