Good install, but watch out for those wires around your foot area. Hate to see you get one snagged on your exit of the vehicle and pull something out with you.

Very nice indeed.

Infact, I had been thinking about getting a mobile Uniden, GRE, or Radio Shack digital scanner but I already have a Pro-96 like yours, so I think I'll follow your example.

Slide that luggage rack back at least 6" from the antenna, cause it can reduce the signal being so close, since its metal.

oh yes, agreed. Although, it is not a transmitting antenna, but of course, you want the ground plain to be the vehicle and not the luggage rack cross beam. Of course, the best test is to see how reception is with tough/distant signals if you already know of any or find one, that would be good.

Thats just the wire for my Ipod, It's usally not there thats just were it ends up when I Unplug it.

The deals that move the rack back is broke, but even with it right there it picks up very well. I can get towers from my house which is in a valley that are probley about 70 or 80 miles away I am very happy with that antenna, its like night and day compared to the other antenna that I had up there. I would recommend this antenna to anyone
