Nice clean setup. You pipe your scanner audio through those nice speakers? That would sound sweet.

I rarely use the speakers, but that is a good idea. I am going to try it now.
FULL DISCLOSURE: my desk is rarely that clean LOL.

You put it in the corner, was it misbehaving?

No LOL, (1) it is at eye level therefore easier to read, (2) it is at ear level, easier to hear, (3) it is out of the way when I have tons of crap on my desk, (4) is is up higher so hopefully better reception. :)

you won't see pics on tapatalk. I'm on it now and not seeing the original post pics either.

Am I the only one that doesn't see a picture?

Here are the pics. I did not realize tapatalk users could not see them.

Hi Nate, looks nice!

How do you like the scanner thus far? I'm considering it in near future... (I have a Home Patrol, and older uniden version, similar to the 396 but can't recall right now)

The color scheme is kind of appealing to me too: not usually into dark colors but that's kind of a cool look, and (if your shack is like mine) hides the dirt ;o)

Correct. If you look at nategb's original post's post title (under his avatar), you'll notice that the edit has been made. The thread title is copied over from the subject line during thread creation and can only be changed by someone with admin privileges.
